Today was a day of unexpected surprises. On the agenda was an unplanned bath for Jack, a bleach down of my kitchen floor and countertops, and extra laundry.
To be fair, he's exhausted after the agony. It's rare that any of the pets get a bath. The reason for the bath? Simply he didn't clean the area beneath his tail. I found a surprise on the floor (cat scat). At first I thought he might have a UTI. The UTI was ruled out after I found my long hair dangling from his hind end. He couldn't resist eating my hair which he obviously had difficulty passing. Grosser yet, I had to yank it out. This has never happened before.
Wheat grass plants are on the menu to help him out. Salad for the prince? Yes. Besides, he likes it.
He wins. I cleaned the kitchen, again today.
